Raider Nose Tackle Pat Sims #90

“The fans are crazy,” he says with a big smile on his face. “The fans are different out here, very crazy. I like our fans, they give you a lot of energy.”

“What I like about Pat, is he can be dominant up front,” Tarver said when describing his defensive tackle. “When he leads with his hands, he’s strong enough and quick enough to impact both run and pass plays.”

The youngest of 10 children, Sims was a two-sport athlete, playing both basketball and football in his South Florida prep days.

Listed at 6’2” and 310 pounds, Sims does not shy away from contact in the trenches. In fact, he encourages it.

Raider Owner Mark Davis

Who Can Save the Raiders?

Mark Davis took over the Raiders as Managing Partner October 8, 2011 on the death of his father, Hall of Fame Owner Al Davis .

Mark Davis has 14 wins during his term as Owner of the Oakland Raiders. Overall record 14-30.

“I don’t want to call it a last-ditch effort, but it does seem to be the last chance that Oakland is going to get,” Davis told the San Francisco Chronicle. “We can’t continue to play in that stadium, with the baseball field and all of that stuff.”
