Raiders Playoffs 2011

Oakland Raiders Jerry Rice #80

When I started this blog during the offseason, I made my bold prediction that Raiders would go 8-8 and win the division with a tiebreaker over San Diego.
Raiders may very well beat that prediction and on the other hand they may flop and miss it.
But destiny is calling!
On the radio today they were asking about how hard the path to the playoffs is for the Raiders.
It was said that Oakland will have a tough time because they may have to play two of the three: Patriots, Ravens or Steelers along the way.
They tried to pick the easiest path and how we could make it past these tough teams.
F THAT!
Raider fans WANT TO BEAT THEM ALL!!!!!!!!
My only regret is that we don’t get to face them ALL in the post season, we NEED to DEMOLISH our opponents, those who have taunted us for years.

The Steelers blocked us from MULTIPLE super bowls! After their recent rash of success, Raiders MUST put them back in their place during the playoffs!

The upstart Ravens are trying to be the baddest team in the league, HELL NO, that spot is taken!!! Silver and Black will get physical and SHOW these punks how it is DONE!

Finally, the Patriots… Golden boy QB Tom Brady’s career started in the Snow Job Bowl, when Patriots got the WORST call in history, blocking Raiders from their rightful SuperBowl. It needs to END with a loss to Oakland in the AFC Championship game! Raider fans need for revenge will never cease until we SMACK the Pats out of the final round. They have it coming and finally, we have the tools to finish them off…

Raider Nation it’s only a matter of time.
And as Hue Jackson says: THE TIME IS NOW!!!!!!

Man, I love your thinking, and I agree that it would be SWEET to finally put Brady down for that BS “tuck rule” game that the refs certainly made sure they won! We also do very much owe the Steelers many loses for pay back from the good ole days and who in the world likes the Ravens Ray Lewis, who 1) was a Hurricane in college and there’s not much lower than that imo and 2) he knifed up those two dudes in Atlanta, when his team didn’t make the Super Bowl in 2000 and then turned on his friends in order to get away with it! The blood stained suit he wore that night has still not been recovered!! Sure, it would be great to beat them all to get back to the SB but I truly question if we are a strong enough team right now to make it happen.

Maybe, with a new conditioning coach next year, so that we can keep more guys healthy all season long, and perhaps add a few more top talent free agents (since we won’t be having any picks in the coming draft) to help out the still struggling defense, and next season we could surely be playoff bound.

If we could really shore up the defense this offseason, to help finally stop the run better and certainly help stop the issues we have with giving up too many big pass plays each week, and we could be a much better team overall. Combine that with Palmer having a lot more time with the offense and maybe finally getting one full season with a healthy “Karren” McFadden and we could not only make the playoffs but compete with those three teams much better than I think we can now!
